We're Nick and David, good friends from college and the founders of Donna. We built Donna because we know firsthand how hard it is to make sure nothing slips through the cracks when you're looking after an aging loved one.

Growing up, we watched our moms take on so much when caring for our grandparents: coordinating rides to the doctor, managing paperwork and finances, decluttering their houses, all while trying to keep their true relationship as a daughter. Not as a chauffeur, an accountant, or a maid.

They absolutely crushed it. And yet, every now and then something small but important would get missed. Maybe the plants didn't get watered, maybe a favorite team's game went unwatched, maybe the doors didn't get locked at night.

We each wanted to build something for our own grandparents but hadn't figured out exactly what. After a chance conversation at our college reunion, we realized we were both determined to solve the same problem, so we came together to tackle it. Many late nights later, we launched Donna, and we've been helping seniors and their families ever since!

Nick's grandpa is an avid Detroit Tigers fan. They play 162 games a year, and if anyone has time to watch them all, it's him. But game times change every day, and a lot of times he'd forget when they were on. Nick, his mom, and his uncles would call to remind him when they could, but with a game nearly every day, there was no way to keep up. Donna keeps up. Now he gets a call a few minutes before every Tigers game starts, and he's hardly missed a pitch since.
